Harry Trotter

The wizard of The Hogg show, Harry Trotter is one of the rarest breeds of pigs we have on the show, he is actually twice as rare as the giant panda. He is a middle white pig, and they are an endangered breed, typically they can live up to 30 years old. In 2019 the total amount of middle white pigs in the world was 321, however due to our work in the Hogg show, the numbers are steadily on the incline. Our Harry is four years old so there is plenty of life in him yet. Harry is always up to mischief and its never managed, he has his own water feature so make sure you stand back! Despite this, he is truly dumbledorable. He is always first to notice a visitor in the field and greet them with the noisiest hello.

Amy swinehouse

Amy Swinehouse is mangalitsa pig. They originate from Austria, Hungary, Romania, Switzerland, and Germany. Amy is five years old and well on her way to becoming a superstar. Her breed was on the brink of extinction in 1993 as there were less than 150 in existence, but we have seen a resurgence in recent years. Like her namesake, Amy is always the last one to come in at night-time as she is far too busy out partying in the field.

Will.I.Ham

Will.I.ham is our own member of the black-eyed pigs. He is one of our veteran members of the team and is a Berkshire pig. Berkshires are known to have been kept by Queen Victoria herself and Will.I.ham is no exception, he still demands to be treated like royalty among the others. Although he does look like a chubby border collie, he can run at a whopping 25 miles per hour and can jump up to 55 inches, not that he’s going to because he does things very much on his own terms, but his spontaneous talent of twerking is something he is more than happy to do at any time that suits him.

Sownia Twain

Sownia Twain is one of our newest pigs for this year. We can’t let you know too much because we do like to keep you in suspense and keep a few tricks up our sleeves.

Albert Einswine

Albert is a Kunekune pig. He is the most intelligent of our pigs at the Hogg show. He is our resident acrobat and is quite the dab trotter at agility. Kunekune’s originate from New Zealand and are kept by Maori’s and are famed for their friendliness and love for human interaction. Kunekune translates as fat and round in Maori and as you can see here Albert is no exception.
